Junior Legal Counsel

What they look for
- Providing legal support in tendering, drafting / negotiating service and contract agreements
- Drafting and reviewing different types of commercial contracts
- Managing and negotiating any permit appeals and contractor claims with the support of the Company’s external lawyers
- Following-up on new legislation and recent case law in relation to contract-, construction-, commercial- and corporate law
- Oversee due diligence for maritime deals and conduct risk assessments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide strategic legal advice on maritime business decisions
- Offer solutions and recommendations to support our maritime business objectives and growth
- Corporate legal advice and corporate housekeeping

What do we ask?
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Law
- Extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including contract law, employment law, corporate law and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and perform under pressure
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
