Inventory Specialist

Become an Inventory Specialist at My Warehouse: take control of our inventory, resolve discrepancies and help improve our logistics processes! My Warehouse is the logistical heart of My Jewellery, one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in the Netherlands. From our modern warehouse, we make sure that thousands of customers in the Netherlands and abroad receive their orders on time every day. We are looking for an accurate and enthusiastic Inventory Employee to strengthen our team and help us further optimize our logistics processes. What will you be doing? As an Inventory Employee at My Warehouse, you work together with the team to make sure our inventory is accurate. You spend much of your time on the warehouse floor, checking inventory and investigating discrepancies. For example, when a location is empty, you investigate whether the stock is still stored in bulk or whether there is a difference between the physical inventory and the inventory registered in our WMS. You perform cycle counts, check inventory discrepancies and make corrections in the system when necessary. You work in both the automated and manual areas of the warehouse. This means you combine hands-on investigation with administrative tasks, giving you plenty of variety while allowing you to see first-hand what is happening with our inventory. You work in a team of four colleagues and are also in close contact with the Inventory Controller and colleagues on the warehouse floor. The Logistics Team Lead is your direct manager. Together, you investigate discrepancies, resolve inventory differences and ensure our inventory remains as accurate as possible. You work in two shifts: from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00. You switch shifts every week. Your tasks Proactively and reactively check different warehouse locations for missing goods and inventory discrepancies, while identifying opportunities for improvement; Regularly perform inventory counts (cycle counts); Carry out administrative tasks related to inventory in the WMS; Check inventory and investigate discrepancies and shortages; Investigate why warehouse locations are empty; Check inventory discrepancies in both the automated and manual areas of the warehouse; Perform regular cycle counts and verify that the physical inventory matches the inventory registered in the system; Process inventory corrections and other administrative tasks in our WMS. Accurate and solution-oriented; two qualities that describe you perfectly; You have at least an MBO-level education, preferably in logistics or a related field; You have some experience in inventory management or a similar role within a warehouse environment; You enjoy being present on the warehouse floor and taking a hands-on approach; You are flexible and comfortable working in shifts and in a dynamic environment.
