Equipment Engineer (Electronics)

If so, this could be your opportunity to join our Manufacturing Engineering department as an Electrical Equipment Engineer within the Equipment Engineering team in Eindhoven. As an Equipment Engineer (Electronics / Industrial Automation), you will work in multidisciplinary project teams, developing high-tech equipment for the production and advancement of X-ray tubes and system key modules like detectors, at Malvern Panalytical. You will work on cutting-edge technology, particularly in electronics and machine controls, across a diverse range of applications.

• Develop high-tech equipment for the production and advancement of X-ray tubes and system key modules like detectors.
• Work on cutting-edge technology in electronics and machine controls across high voltage, high vacuum, nano-ampere measurements, thin-layer deposition, precision positioning, high-frequency soldering, (laser) welding, and industrial automation.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and operations, while engaging with specialized external companies to further develop machine concepts.
• Take on or develop into a project leadership role for the equipment of the future, depending on your experience.
• Establish an industrial infrastructure where data-driven and interconnected processes can be developed and optimized (Factory 4.0).
• Dedicate approximately 25% of your time to directly supporting production by troubleshooting process and production issues.
