About the role
As Engineering Manager Platform, you will own the platform function end-to-end: the operating model, internal developer platform, platform investments, team, and outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will combine people management with active technical contribution to platform architecture, automation, and engineering excellence. You will lead a team of Platform Engineers and SREs (3–4 FTE), working closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Architecture to enable high-performing software teams across Effectory.
Our ambition is to build a world-class engineering platform that enables teams to deliver software faster, more reliable, and more securely. You will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), creating an environment where developers can focus on delivering customer value while platform capabilities provide scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence by default.
In this role, you will report directly to the CTO
What they look for
Define and own the platform engineering strategy and 12-month roadmap, aligned with company objectives and engineering priorities.
Drive the evolution of our Internal Developer Platform, making infrastructure, deployment, observability, and security capabilities available through self-service experiences.
Continuously improve developer experience by reducing friction, increasing engineering productivity, and simplifying operational tasks.
Establish platform standards, golden paths, and engineering practices that promote consistency across teams.
Partner with engineering leadership to identify opportunities for platform investments that increase delivery speed, reliability, and quality.
