About the company

From our headquarters in Heerhugowaard, you’ll join our enthusiastic and informal service planning team. Together with your in-house colleagues, you’ll manage a team of more than 25 service technicians. They’re on the road every day installing and maintaining thousands of conveyor belts and systems.
You’re the linchpin who ensures our technicians can perform their work on time, to a high standard, and safely. Collaboration, flexibility, and customer focus are central to our culture. No two days are the same!

Where will you be working?

AMMEGA is a global company with branches in 40 countries and more than 6,000 employees. The companies of the Ammega Group provide advanced, high-quality conveyor belt solutions for 20 different sectors, including global logistics, food production, fitness equipment, household appliances, and power generation. We place great value on our employees, customers, and entrepreneurship, and we operate in a flexible and responsible manner. Our mission and our culture of continuous improvement form the foundation for a strong and sustainable company that is valued by our customers.

What will you be doing?

As a Service Planner, you’ll solve a dynamic puzzle every day. You’ll be responsible for the entire cycle: from the initial scheduling request to the administrative completion of the installation work of the conveyor belts.
Your focus will be on:
•    Planning and coordinating installation, maintenance, and repair work throughout the Netherlands.
•    Responding on an ad hoc basis to urgent breakdowns and managing the breakdown schedule for the field service team.
•    Logistical preparation, such as coordinating with customers to ensure everything is ready and complete for the planned installation work and making sure the correct equipment is available at the service location on time.
•    Project support, including requesting access passes and preparing all necessary documentation for installations abroad.
•    Administrative tasks, such as verifying hours worked, preparing projects for invoicing, and sending work orders to the customer.
•    Ensure safety by scheduling regular safety meetings for the technicians.
•    Maintain close contact with customers, sales, and work planning regarding schedules and capacity.

What do you bring to the table?

•    MBO+ level of work and thinking: with strong organizational and administrative skills.
•    Experience as a planner: preferably in a technical field or a service-oriented field service role.
•    Strong communication skills: you communicate just as easily with a technician as with an international client.
•    Stress resilience and flexibility: You remain calm when plans change and take ownership to successfully complete a task.
•    A proactive attitude: You think in terms of solutions and identify bottlenecks before they arise.
•    Technical aptitude: A basic understanding of assembly techniques and how conveyor belts work, so you can accurately assess the complexity of jobs.
•    IT/ERP knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or DIME’s planning software is a major plus, but we consider a solid foundation in computer skills to be most important.
