Team Laser develops the next generation of customer-facing applications and services for building operation. The team works across the user experience, APIs and cloud components that bring operational information together and help customers act on it.

• Create end-to-end features that turn complex building data into clear, useful workflows.

• Help connect Nuro Smart Operator capabilities into a more unified operating experience.

• Improve reliability, performance and security across the frontend-to-backend path.

• Reduce integration friction by building consistent APIs, notifications and reusable application capabilities.

Your team 

You will join Team Laser, a multidisciplinary application team working with Product, UX, QA and other engineering teams. The team develops Smart Operator, analytics and related application capabilities, while collaborating across shared platforms and services. 

What you'll do 

• Design, build and maintain complete product features across Angular frontends and .NET backend services.

• Turn product and UX concepts into accessible, responsive and maintainable user experiences.

• Design and evolve APIs and application services that expose building data safely and consistently.

• Integrate frontend applications with shared services, authentication, authorization and cloud resources.

• Build pragmatic automated tests across components, APIs and important end-to-end flows.

• Use logging, telemetry and meaningful error handling to make production behaviour understandable and supportable.

• Improve existing code through refactoring, dependency updates and removal of technical debt without disrupting customers.

• Collaborate on technical design, refinement, code reviews, releases and incident investigation.

• Document decisions and share knowledge so features can be maintained across team boundaries.
