We are Nmbrs. We build smart business software that removes unnecessary complexity for SMEs and the professionals who support them. Nmbrs brings together four established product organisations - Payroll, Accounting, Invoicing and Reporting - with teams across the Netherlands, Sweden and Portugal.

We are one brand with a shared ambition, while continuing to work from the expertise and strengths of our individual organisations. We join forces where it makes sense, while keeping teams, expertise and decision-making close together.

For this role, you'll join Nmbrs Accounting in Rotterdam, working closely with the colleagues in your local team while being part of the wider Nmbrs organisation.

Your work directly determines how fast and reliably our SaaS platform can evolve. When you tune an EKS cluster or harden an IaC pipeline, it's the reason product teams can ship changes with confidence instead of crossing their fingers. When something in our infrastructure needs to scale under real customer load, your ownership is what keeps it standing.

You operate with high autonomy here - this isn't a role where you wait for direction. The infrastructure decisions you make ripple out into how secure, fast, and resilient the product feels for the 100,000+ companies who depend on Nmbrs Accounting every day.

You're an analytical, inventive engineer who takes pride in system resilience and clean architecture. You thrive with high autonomy and freedom, matched by a strong sense of personal accountability.

• Experience managing Windows Server in a cloud environment, combined with hands-on experience working with relational databases.

• Solid hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (EKS configuration & maintenance), Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD, plus proven experience setting up and maintaining Windows Servers in a public cloud environment.

• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), with scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for deployment, monitoring, and application management.
