what the list means

What is the IND register of recognised sponsors?+

It is the public list the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) keeps of employers and institutions it has recognised as sponsors. A recognised sponsor is allowed to bring in people from outside the EU, for example as highly skilled migrants (kennismigranten). The IND publishes it as a PDF and a CSV. This page searches the same names, 13,257 entries in total.

Does being on the list mean a job comes with a visa?+

No. A listing means the employer is allowed to sponsor a visa. It does not mean a particular role includes sponsorship, and the salary and the role still have to meet the IND conditions. Ask the employer, and check the posting itself.

What if a company is not on the list?+

A company that is not on the register cannot sponsor a highly skilled migrant visa itself. It may still be listed under a different legal name, for example a parent company or a spelling with B.V., so search with a shorter name and check the official IND register before you rely on the result.
