Black Semiconductor is looking for a motivated Cleanroom Equipment Technician (f/m/d) to join our on-site team in Zoetermeer, NL.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of all technical systems that support our cleanroom environment. You will take ownership of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across utilities such as air handling, gas, water, and electrical systems. This position is ideal for a hands-on, mechanically minded professional who enjoys working independently, solving technical challenges, and learning new skills in a highly controlled and innovative environment.
Wat je gaat doen
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of cleanroom utility systems, including HVAC, supply and exhaust air, gas, water, and electrical infrastructure.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on cleanroom support systems and incoming utility networks.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
Coordinate and execute maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with cleanroom standards and safety requirements.
Take ownership of technical challenges and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and increased reliability.

Wat ze zoeken
Completed vocational training in a mechanical, technical, or maintenance-related field (e.g., Automotive Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or similar).
Practical experience working with mechanical systems and a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, gas, or utility systems.
Strong hands-on mentality with the confidence to tackle unfamiliar technical challenges and learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Problem-solving mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to work in a cleanroom environment with strict quality and safety standards.
Comfortable working hands-on across cleanroom, laboratory and facility environments, including accessing elevated areas by ladder and working in restricted spaces beneath the cleanroom when required.
Able to safely support physically demanding maintenance and installation activities, such as replacing HEPA filters, operating valves, positioning gas cylinders and moving heavy vacuum pumps. Appropriate handling equipment and team support will be used for heavy loads.
Strong communication skills in English, ideally also in Dutch to interact with externals, management and operators.
No previous semiconductor experience is required. You will receive the necessary training and support to learn the equipment and develop your technical skills.
