What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for the detail and can work independently without losing sight of the bigger picture.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial administration or a similar role
• An MBO+/HBO qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong knowledge of general ledger bookkeeping, journal entries, AP/AR and reconciliations
• Experience with Dutch financial administration
• Fluent Dutch and professional working proficiency in English
• A structured, accurate and detail-oriented way of working
• Confidence working independently, managing deadlines and taking ownership

Experience with German bookkeeping or financial administration is a plus, as is experience working with multiple entities or in an international organisation.

What you’ll own
You’ll take care of the day-to-day financial administration across our organisation, working closely with the wider Finance team and our external advisers.
In practice, that means:

• Keeping our bookkeeping and general ledger accurate and up to date
• Processing purchase and sales invoices, expenses and journal entries
• Managing accounts payable and receivable, including payment runs and outstanding balances
• Reconciling bank accounts, subledgers and balance-sheet accounts
• Supporting Dutch VAT returns, CBS reporting and other routine financial requirements
• Supporting month-end closing and helping to maintain reliable financial reporting
• Spotting practical ways to improve the quality and efficiency of our financial administration
