Description of assignment

Are you eager to dive into the intersection of international indirect tax, supply chain operations, and tax technology? At our headquarters in Veghel, Vanderlande is looking for a motivated student to support the automation and documentation of our EMEA Indirect Tax (compliance) positions.

In this hands-on role, you will learn how Vanderlande manages its EMEA indirect tax positions and connected compliance obligations using our Tax Control Framework and the Risk, Control, Monitoring (RiCoMo) matrix. You will support the rollout of the global indirect tax country file program by assessing risks, identifying opportunities, and contributing to transaction mappings per project/compliance country. These country files directly feed into our ERP blueprint and drive compliance automation. Furthermore, you will actively participate in our automation program—utilizing low-code data tools like Alteryx—to reduce manual workload and error sensitivity in our EMEA Shared Service Center.
