Service Product Manager Specialist

As a Service Product Manager, you will develop, manage and strengthen our service portfolio to maximize customer value throughout the entire lifecycle of our poultry processing equipment. You will help translate customer needs and business objectives into standardized, scalable service products that deliver measurable value to our customers.

Working closely with Engineering, Sales and Service, you will translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits and compelling value propositions. You will support the development and launch of new lifecycle products, contribute to product governance and decision-making, and help customers get the maximum value from our poultry solutions. You will combine technical understanding with commercial insight, supporting the commercial success of our service portfolio without carrying direct responsibility for sales revenue.

What you'll be doing

• Understand customer needs and goals: Build a deep understanding of customer challenges, objectives and expectations, translating these into clear requirements for service product development.

• Drive lifecycle product development: Align customer needs with product development to ensure they are reflected in standardized service lifecycle products.

• Develop and strengthen the service portfolio: Support the creation, standardization and launch of new lifecycle products that maximize customer value throughout the equipment lifecycle.

• Support commercial success: Work closely with Sales and Service Selling to identify customer needs, match them with the right solutions and support the successful positioning and selling of our service portfolio.

• Connect teams and expertise: Bring together the necessary JBT Marel disciplines and customer stakeholders to create maximum positive impact and achieve agreed customer outcomes.

• Support product governance: Contribute to governance processes and decision-making related to lifecycle products, helping ensure a consistent and value-driven portfolio.

• Monitor product delivery and performance: Ensure service products are delivered as agreed, intervene when necessary, and monitor customer usage and satisfaction.

• Protect customer satisfaction and retention: Identify and mitigate risks that could affect customer satisfaction, long-term customer relationships or retention of our products.

• Help customers maximize value: Support customers in understanding how to get the greatest possible value from our poultry processing solutions through the effective use of our service portfolio.

The role involves approximately 20% travel.

About you

You combine technical understanding with commercial awareness and enjoy translating customer needs into practical, valuable solutions. You are proactive, analytical and comfortable working across different teams, bringing people together to achieve shared goals. You can balance customer expectations, product development and commercial objectives while keeping a strong focus on long-term value.

In addition, you have:

• Experience in product management, service management, technical sales support, business development or a similar role.

• An understanding of industrial machinery, spare parts, maintenance or service solutions.

• The ability to translate customer needs and technical information into clear product requirements and customer benefits.

• Commercial insight and the ability to identify opportunities that strengthen a product portfolio.

• Experience with value propositions, business cases, product roadmaps, lifecycle management or go-to-market plans.

• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The ability to support product governance, structured decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international, cross-functional environment.

• A good command of English.

Experience with service products, lifecycle management, industrial machinery or the food processing industry is an advantage.
