Quality Inspector

Executing measurements and inspections based on a planned schedule.

Performing visual and functional inspections on electrical products (e.g. cabinets, motos, control units) and mechanical products (e.g. conveyor assemblies), from incoming materials, in‑process components, to ensure conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Performing dimensional checks using variable and attribute measuring instruments.

Reporting and documenting nonconformities, triggering corrective actions to prevent defects.

Advising the QA Engineers in releases of Vanderlande products at suppliers and in root cause analysis for quality problems.

Collaborate with Quality Engineers and colleagues across regions to support component verification and failure analysis.

MBO level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent,

Between 3-5 years of experience with knowledge of relevant standards: NEN 3140/1010, NEN 60204 is a plus.

Hands-on experience with industrial electromechanical components (e.g. I/O systems, frequency drives, 3-phase motors) and understanding of low-level control principles.

Skilled in functional testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting using tools such as TIA Portal and Proneta, as well as electrical test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, multimeter).

Ability to read, interpret, and work with engineering / electrical drawings, technical specifications, and perform electrical and basic mechanical measurements using standard tools.

Knowledge of quality processes including basic statistics, problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, A3), and PPAP for first article inspections and supplier alignment is a plus.

Experience in conducting inspections, reporting results, and registering test outcomes in ERP systems, with affinity for material handling equipment being a plus.

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and willingness to travel up to 10%.
