About the role

Studytube makes professional development accessible. Our customers use client reporting, the insights they see in the platform, to understand how their people learn and to show the impact of their learning programmes. Those numbers have to be right, every time.

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer dedicated to client reporting. You build and maintain the dbt models and Looker reports behind it. Over the coming year we are moving from Snowflake to Databricks, and you help bring client reporting to the new platform.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain the dbt models behind client reporting, following our layered structure from source to report.

  • Develop Looker reporting end to end: LookML views and explores, dashboards embedded in our platform, and the client-specific logic behind them.

  • Turn client and Customer Success requests into reports, and push back when a definition or requirement is unclear.

  • Keep client reporting reliable: tests, monitoring, documentation, code review and CI as the standard.

  • Protect client data: access per client, privacy and GDPR built into every model and report.

  • Work with our data engineer on the ingestion syncs (today Fivetran) that feed client reporting.

  • Help migrate client reporting models from Snowflake to Databricks, including clients with specific data residency needs.

  • Align client metrics with the shared definitions in our central data foundation, so customers and internal teams see the same numbers.

What they look for

You have 2 to 5 years of experience in analytics engineering or BI development, or grew into it from analysis or data engineering. You think in models and definitions before dashboards. You know that a number a customer sees has to be explainable, consistent and correct. If a client or a CS colleague cannot understand or trust a report, the work is not done.

Nice to have

  • Databricks (Unity Catalog, AI/BI dashboards) or experience with a warehouse migration.

  • Embedded or customer-facing analytics in B2B SaaS, including access per customer.

  • Fivetran or other ingestion tools.

  • Python.

  • Dutch.

What you get

  • A competitive salary and real influence on how client reporting is built.

  • Hybrid: 3 days at our Houthavens office in Amsterdam, 2 from home.

  • 25 holiday days plus your birthday off.

  • 3% pension via a.s.r., fully paid by Studytube.

  • €1,000 learning budget per year, of which up to half can go to wellbeing or your home office.

  • LevelUp Academy, Studygym, a MacBook Air and a €10 monthly phone allowance.

  • Catered lunches, quarterly outings and a yearly company party.

About the company

You join the Client Reporting team, where client reporting is your full-time focus. The team includes a Product Manager, a dedicated QA engineer and another analytics engineer.

You work closely with the Product department, Customer Success and our central data team, so client reporting fits the product and answers what our customers need.

About the company

Studytube is the all-in-one learning platform for 600+ organisations, including Bol.com, a.s.r., CZ, Manpower and VolkerWessels. With 200+ colleagues we aim to become Europe’s number 1 platform for professional development. Trusted client reporting helps our customers prove the value of learning.
