Event Marketer

As our Event Marketer, you will help drive Genexis’ presence at major international trade shows and support our regional and local teams with smaller customer events, partner events, and industry-led activities. You will play a key role in making sure every event is well planned, professionally executed, and clearly connected to our commercial and brand objectives. 

You will coordinate event planning from concept to follow-up, balancing long-term planning with short-term execution and attention to detail. This includes managing timelines, keeping budgets under control, coordinating suppliers and internal stakeholders, supporting booth design and messaging, and helping create a strong visitor experience before, during, and after each event. You will also have the opportunity to drive digital activation and marketing automation campaigns leading up to events and following up on leads afterwards. 

 You are a structured, hands-on marketer with strong project management skills and a natural ability to connect with people. You enjoy bringing stakeholders together, building industry networks, keeping projects on track, and turning plans into high-quality execution. You are comfortable working with both the bigger picture and the practical details that make an event successful. 

• You have at least four years of relevant work experience, preferably in event marketing, trade show coordination, B2B marketing, or a comparable role.  

• You hold a minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, international business and or a related field.  

• A critical part of the role is shaping booth concepts that are designed to generate leads. This includes working with booth layout and visitor flow, graphic design, event messaging, and the overall booth experience to make sure Genexis stands out and attracts the right conversations. 

• Experience with communication and activation tools used before and after events is a strong advantage, for example WordPress, HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms, Canva, or other visual and video design tools. You understand how these tools can support event promotion, audience engagement, lead capture, and structured lead follow-up. 

• If you also have experience with copywriting, digital campaigns, or content creation, that is a welcome bonus. 

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Dutch is a strong plus.  
• You are a strong team player who thrives in an international, multicultural environment. You enjoy collaborating with others, organizing social and professional event experiences, and you are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. 
• You bring positive energy, curiosity, and a genuine interest in telecom and technology. You are excited by how fiber and Wi-Fi enable better digital experiences, and you enjoy turning that story into compelling marketing and event activities. 
• Have the ability to turn ideas into well-executed marketing activities quickly and smoothly. This will be key to succeeding in the role. 

• Willingness to travel to local and international events and enjoy networking with others.
