About the role

Protect our digital frontiers. Scale our enterprise systems – so our radar tech stays secure while we grow.

As our IT & Infosec Director, you own our end-to-end digital architecture and cybersecurity posture. You work side-by-side with Operations, Legal, I&D, and Commercial teams – connecting core business tools while safeguarding critical IP and customer data. You report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), leading our Business Applications, IT Infrastructure & Cloud, and Information Security teams as we expand globally.

What you will do

  • Strategic roadmap and business systems: Drive our multi-year IT roadmap to support global growth. Integrate enterprise systems seamlessly across ERP, CRM, PLM, and business intelligence tools. Ensure our software ecosystem scales efficiently alongside expanding business operations.

  • Cybersecurity architecture and risk management: Establish, govern, and enforce company-wide security policies and zero-trust architectures. Oversee threat detection, incident response plans, and secure data handling procedures. Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration tests, and vendor security audits.

  • Defense and aviation compliance: Lead compliance across global frameworks including ISO 27001, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and ITAR/DFARS controls. Protect sensitive defense and aviation customer data against evolving threats. Partner with external auditors and compliance assessors to maintain top certifications.

  • Global infrastructure and cloud operations: Oversee network resilience, cloud environments, and hybrid workplace hardware deployments. Manage enterprise identity systems like Azure AD and Entra ID. Run routine disaster recovery testing to guarantee operational stability across sites.

  • Leadership and executive advisory: Serve as the primary tech advisor to executive leadership on digital investments and cybersecurity risks. Lead, coach, and develop high-performing technical teams across applications, infrastructure, and security. Manage external IT partners, software vendors, and managed security service providers.

What they look for

  • BA or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • 10+ years of progressive IT and Information Security leadership experience

  • Proven background in high-tech hardware, defense, aerospace, software, or engineering environments

  • Deep working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, GDPR, and ITAR/EAR protocols

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP, PLM, and business intelligence architecture

  • Recognised security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCISO preferred

  • Confident communicator who balances strict security controls with organizational agility

  • Cool-headed leader capable of driving calm, rapid response during critical system incidents

  • Willing to travel up to 5% to strategic partners and international sites

N.B. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. Our mission is a journey, and there's plenty to learn along the way. If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.
