The Role

Als (Senior) Consultant Mission Critical / Security help je bij het opleveren van grootschalige ICT-projecten en het introduceren van innovaties in communicatietechnologie en security. Je geeft inhoudelijk leiding aan ontwikkelingen op het gebied van netwerken en applicaties, met de focus op mission-critical netwerken, securityvraagstukken en proces- en organisatieveranderingen.

Je komt in dienst bij Kyndryl en werkt voor een opdrachtgever in de defensie- en veiligheidssector die zijn IT-infrastructuur volledig vernieuwt. Later kun je ook voor andere klanten van Kyndryl aan de slag.

Je maakt ontwerpen op strategisch en conceptueel niveau en begeleidt ingewikkelde beslissingen op alle niveaus. Tegelijk breng je genoeg detail aan om die ontwerpen werkelijkheid te maken: je overziet het hele ICT-landschap en duikt de diepte in waar het om communicatieoplossingen gaat.

Succes in deze rol betekent dat operationele behoeften leiden tot technische ontwerpen die ook onder extreme omstandigheden werken, dat de architectuur over alle domeinen samenhangt en dat besluitvormers de keuzes begrijpen.

Wat ga je doen

• Breng samen met architecten en besluitvormers de huidige en nieuwe operationele ICT-behoeften in kaart
• Zet die behoeften om naar technische oplossingen

• Ontwerp en implementeer communicatieoplossingen in een complexe IT-omgeving
• Vertaal het programma van eisen naar een technisch ontwerp dat werkt onder extreme omstandigheden

• Stuur domeinarchitecten aan en begeleid ze inhoudelijk
• Bewaak de integrale architectuur over alle domeinen heen

• Leg technische oplossingen begrijpelijk uit aan niet-technische stakeholders
• Begeleid besluitvorming met genoeg detail om keuzes uitvoerbaar te maken

Je werkt hybride: vooral op een locatie van de opdrachtgever in de regio Utrecht, deels thuis en af en toe op het Kyndryl-kantoor in Hoofddorp. Het salaris is € 86.000 tot € 108.000 bruto per jaar, inclusief vakantiegeld en dertiende maand, afhankelijk van je ervaring.

Daarnaast krijg je onder meer een telefoon en laptop van de zaak, een maandelijkse internetvergoeding en tot vijf weken extra partnerverlof met behoud van salaris. Met de Kyndryl Social Club zijn er regelmatig borrels, Lunch and Learns en sportactiviteiten.

Onderweg haal je certificeringen en werk je samen met ervaren specialisten.

Who You Are

Je bent technisch leider en teamspeler tegelijk, werkt goed zelfstandig en bent leergierig en wendbaar. Je blijft met humor en relativeringsvermogen positief onder druk.

Vereiste vaardigheden en ervaring

• Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als consultant in grote organisaties.
• Ervaring met mission-critical netwerken, communicatieoplossingen of securityvraagstukken.
• Ervaring met architectuurmodellen en -methodieken.
• Uitstekend Engels, in woord en geschrift.
• Vloeiend Nederlands, de Nederlandse nationaliteit en een Nederlands paspoort, en bereidheid tot een screening door de MIVD (VGB). Kyndryl begeleidt je daarbij.

Gewenste vaardigheden en ervaring

• Ervaring bij een netwerkoperator, een veiligheidsorganisatie of vergelijkbaar.
• Certificeringen zoals CISSP, CISM of CIPP/E.
• Kennis van threat intelligence.
• Ervaring met change- en transitiemanagement.
• Ervaring als facilitator, bijvoorbeeld van Client Lab- of Business Chemistry-sessies.
