Graduate Consultant, Business Transformation, Corporate Finance

Our Netherlands office has three core practices: Business Transformation, Turnaround & Restructuring and Transaction Services. We are looking for graduates to join our Business Transformation practice in Amsterdam. You will combine rigorous analysis with practical implementation, helping clients address complex business challenges. During the recruitment process, you will meet members of the team to learn about our work, consulting life and the expectations of the role.

• Work directly with clients across industries in small project teams, taking ownership of defined tasks from day one, progressing work independently and seeking guidance when needed
• Apply structured problem-solving to understand business performance, identify the causes of underperformance and develop practical transformation plans with your team
• Analyse financial and operational data in Excel, summarise findings and assess the implications for the client’s business
• Conduct market and competitor research, quickly building knowledge of unfamiliar topics and benchmarking client performance against leading businesses
• Participate in client meetings and interviews to understand business challenges across industries in the Netherlands and internationally
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely, preparing analyses and PowerPoint presentations for internal discussions and client meetings
• Work side-by-side with client teams to implement new processes, track progress and deliver agreed outputs while managing competing priorities and deadlines

Our Business Transformation practice supports companies at critical moments, including mergers and integrations, due diligence and large-scale transformations. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will help clients understand complex challenges, assess their options and translate analysis into actionable transformation plans.

We help C-level executives identify business opportunities, redefine business models and go-to-market value propositions, design operational turnaround plans, and develop and implement new organisational models. Our work combines strategic thinking, financial and operational analysis, and hands-on delivery to improve business performance.

We invest in your professional development through programmes that foster leadership, continuous learning and individual skills development. You will build consulting skills through hands-on project work and self-guided professional development courses, while taking an active role in your own learning. A dedicated coach will mentor and support you through regular coaching sessions and advocate for your professional growth. Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Econometrics, Data/Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or another analytical/quantitative discipline Graduating with a degree, master’s or PhD in 2027 or have graduated in 2026

• Relevant prior internship experience required, ideally in a fast-paced, analytically demanding professional environment such as consulting, private equity, investment banking or transaction/advisory services.
• Fluency in English required; Dutch strongly preferred

Preferred qualifications

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar and complex topics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
• Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, able to progress work independently, collaborate effectively and seek guidance when needed
• Demonstrated drive, resilience and ambition, with evidence of setting challenging goals and following through to achieve them
• Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously, work effectively under pressure and deliver to deadlines
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data analysis or other analytical tools is a plus
