The Role

APS (Azure Power Squad) is one of the 4 Azure Platform Engineering team within the Public Cloud Platform. We build and operate the secure, compliant and highly automated cloud capabilities that enable more than 400 internal DevOps teams to consume Azure through self-service. Our mission is to accelerate software delivery by providing reusable platform products, automation, governance and cloud-native services at enterprise scale.

We are looking for a senior Azure Platform Engineer with strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform services, platform automation, networking, identity, policy and governance, security controls and modern platform engineering practices. This is a hands-on engineering role where architecture, automation, operational excellence and product thinking come together.

Collaboration and mindset

Product oriented mindset: able to balance consumer needs, risk, standardization and scalabbility.
Comfortable engaging with internal DevOps teams, stakeholders, security teams and other platform teams.
Able to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non technical audiences
Growth mindset, service orientation and a strong sense of ownership
Available for at least 36 hours per week
